I am an editorial graphic designer, for more than 20 years, my training is empirical, since I became interested in the field of graphic arts when I worked as a secretary in a graphic arts company for the educational sector located in the city of Armenia, (Colombia ) There they printed books of education, rural magazines, informative folding for the agricultural sector ... etc. It was in that place where I discovered the wonderful world of editorial graphic design and my university, because there I took my first steps in this profession.

It is a company of design and printing of graphic arts, magazines, folding, posters, flyers books, etc.
My job was to finalize the files that arrived for final printing, and to design continuous forms.
Sometimes I supported the Graphic Design department while I trained in that area. Then I started designing magazines.

It is a newspaper with daily circulation in the department of Valle del Cauca, based in Cali (Colombia).
My function was to make advertisements and tabloid newspapers. In the same way, he finished the files and prepared the plates for printing.
Periódico El Pais
2000 - 2012
El Pais is the most important newspaper in the city of Cali, Colombia, where I worked as a graphic designer, initially in the advertising area designing advertisements for both internal and external clients.
With the passage of time I got involved in the area of editorial graphic design, supporting this area of the newspaper initially on Sundays, then they linked me to a project called Q'hubo Newspaper, of popular interest and with a wide daily circulation, in this newspaper designed editorial pages.

It is one of the most important newspapers that circulate every week in Austin, Texas.
My job was to diagram the editorial pages and advertisements for each edition.
When I started studying English, I did not have enough time to continue working for this newspaper, so I had the need to quit.
